Korg produced and distributed four different series of ROM cards for their WS synths:
a) WPC-0** Series which contained Internal factory preload RAMs 1-3 soundbanks
b) WPC-** Series which contained original new soundbanks (10 volumes), some of them programmed by other societies
c) WSC-** Series which were double cards sets: one with an original new soundbank, the other one with new internal PCMs
d) MCR03-WS* Series which contained preloaded RAM cards programmed by independant sounddesigners
SOUND SOURCE UNLIMITED
This famous american society developed complete sounds/samples libraries for a large collection of diverse synthesizers/samplers models (their products are distributed now by Greytsounds™). There were a total of 8 ROM cards for the WS model, most of them programmed by Manny Fernandez.
They also distributed 3 additional ROM cards especially programmed for the WS EX, SR & A/D features.
TECHNOSIS
Technosis is a californian company - apparently linked with a recording studio - which produced two original ROM cards programmed by Mike Peake.
One was dedicated to bass sounds/sequences and the other one to drums sounds/loops.
SOUNDENGINE
SoundEngine is an american society who is distributing three Sound Source Unlimited and one Technosis soundbanks (certainly programmed by Mike Peake).
VALHALA
The well known american sounds producer company which unfortunately went bankrupt on the early 90's.
They distributed a soundbank as the International Gold "WS-601" ROM card.

Any informations about this obscur origins (USA? Japan? Europe?) company are welcome! I can just say that they produced four different soundbanks:

PRO-REC
This american society is selling a large collection of soundbanks for several synths. They produced five ROM cards/floppy disks plus four additional especially programmed for the WS EX, SR & A/D features (a total of nine soundbanks).
Soft Sound is a german company which produced six soundbanks for the Korg WS (I ignore if thew wear specific names).
Volume 6 is still missing to my collection. Any informations or - best of all - a sysex version of it would be much appreciated!
KID NEPRO
Another well-known american company which is developing soundbanks/samples libraries for a lot of synths/samplers models since 1984.
They edited a total of 7 Korg WS soundbanks (volumes 3-7 are for WS EX, A/D & SR models only).
MASTERBITS
Masterbits is a german company which produced 5 ROM cards for the Korg WS as the "Inspiration Series" (programmed by Chris Höppner).
You can visit their website, but I ignore if these soundbanks are still available (prices are still in DM!)
VOCE
Voce is an italian society which produced 4 soundbanks for the Korg WS.
Their "Volume 1" was also distributed in the past by Mediacraft as the "Wave Invasion" soundbank.

MSP
MSP (Mega Sound Production) is a german society managed by Volker Warmers, a sympathic synths lover (many thanks to him for his contribution).
They are proposing 6 Korg WS soundbanks on 3.5" floppy disks. The last volume "PAD STATION" can be bought on eBay Germany.
3D SOUND
I ignore all of this company, excepted that they produced 8 soundbanks for the Korg WS (any additional informations are welcome!)

SoundArt is a german company which developed two Korg WS soundbanks: "Golden Drumtracks" (programmed by Stefan Horst) and "Terra".
They are also distributing now MetraSound products via their website.
METRASOUND
This german company produced two Korg WS ROM cards: "Modern Times" (programmed by Greg Walker) and "Up To Date" (programmed by Peter Gorges).
Their products are now delivered by SoundArt (Germany).
ELECTRON ARTISTRIES
Electron Artistries is an amercian society which produced five Korg WS ROM cards.
CESIUM SOUND™
Cesium Sound™ is a californian company which produced an original WS soundbank carefully programmed by Nick Longo.
MEDIACRAFT
Mediacraft is an english society which produced a WS soundbank named "Wave Invasion" and distributed then by Voce (Italy) as the "Vol. 1" soundbank.
HOLOPHON
I ignore all of this company. They produced three WS soundbanks. "Chemistry" set contained in fact two soundbanks (RAM1&2) sold jointly.
VOICE CRYSTAL™
Voice Crystal™ is an american company which is selling all Eye&I Productions products. They are proposing five WS ROM cards.
Particularity: volume 5 (called in fact "1") is for WS SR, ES & A/D models only

Sound Foundation is an american society which distributed soundbanks originally edited by Hit Music (they produced the famous cards with the hologram on it).
Volume 1 from this collection was originally sold by Valhala as the International Gold "WS-601" soundbank.

Easy Sounds is a german company which produced a total of nine Korg WS soundbanks (programmed by Peter Krischker).

SHS-SOUND SOFTWARE
SHS-Sound Software is a german society which developed two particular soundanks (programmed by Stefan Horst) organized in such a way to turn your Korg WS in a General MIDI module. They occupy both RAM1 & 2 and need to be loaded together. They also include a Performance Map and a Multi Setup.
KÄNG-KONG
Käng-Kong is a german company which produced 4 Korg WS soundbanks. Volumes 2&3 ("Contemporary") have to be loaded together to work correctly.
GREYTSOUNDs™
Greytsounds™ is the american society which is now distributing Sound Source Unlimited products via the Web.
But they also produced their two own Korg WS soundbanks (certainly programmed by Bob Grey): "Soundtraxx" and "Analog".
SYNTHWARE
Synthware is an american company which commercialized three WS ROM cards in the late 80's as the "Sound Pack" (or "Voice Pack") Series. All have been programmed by Scott Verret. They have been distributed for a while these last years as sysex files via the Waterfall 440 Studio Music website, but it seems now that they are definitively no longer available. Particularity: the three soundbanks do not include Wave Sequences.

Sounds OK is an english society which produced four WS soundbanks all programmed by Paul Osborn.

Greytsounds™ is the american society which is now distributing Sound Source Unlimited products via the Web.

SYNTHWARE
Synthware is an american company which commercialized three WS ROM cards in the late 80's as the "Sound Pack" (or "Voice Pack") Series. All have been programmed by Scott Verret. They have been distributed for a while these last years as sysex files via the Waterfall 440 Studio Music website, but it seems now that they are definitively no longer available. Particularity: the three soundbanks do not include Wave Sequences.
